Pilot study of The Theatre Training Checklist
A pilot study of the The Theatre Training Checklist was conducted with a renal transplant department over several weeks.
Theatre team members were surveyed and respondents reflected the entire team.
There were 27 responses, which were all highly positive.
Most respondents found the checklist very easy to use, it improved their understanding of trainee’s objectives within the session compared to if no checklist had been completed and it improved perceptions of list efficiency.
All trainees surveyed agreed or strongly agreed that The Theatre Training Checklist improved their training objectives.
